I'm good at 3d stuff and shading so far.

How long does it take to make one those pictures?

I spent three hours colouring the ninja and a clocked 6 hours making a pixel pilot that fit in the future ship.

Do you do sprites pixel by pixel or do you just hit zoom and use the line tool?

Well I've used MS paint. It depends on what your working on. A sprite edit usally takes from a minute to an hour.
